Art Camp

This Camp was organized by New Horizon Church Pastor Josiah. About 25 art loving people of God were part of it. Here easy drawing techniques were rendered. . Moreover the indispensable part played by art in spreading the Gospel was also described.

In Colombo at New Life Church separate camps were conducted for children and Sunday class teachers. More than 30 interested/ enthusiastic candidates participated in this. Awareness was created about the need of art for Churches! At the end of the training many shared their experiences about the training session. The program was organized by Pastor Joel Lazarus.

YMCA and Vedagama Nanban (Bible Friend) together convened the great Bible expo, where more than 50 Christian organizations participated. ‘ARTS FOR CHRIST’ conducted an art awareness camp with the title, ‘Come let’s Draw’ in the Expo. Hundreds of youth, students and children actively took part in it.

Mr. Veeraswamy Das founder of Vedagama Nanban (Bible Friend), organised a splendid programme ‘Vedagama Kondattam- 2017, at St. Andrews Church, Egmore.  Many students and Church believers took part and drew under the title, ‘Peace on Earth’. Best drawing was identified and motivated by receiving gifts from Sister Hema John.
